Customers that purchase an
annual maintenance/support plan will be entitled to the following: (a) basic technical support via e-mail, (b) free product updates, upgrades and maintenance releases, (c) access to pre-release products, (d) ability
to participate in beta testing of future updates. Note: free updates and maintenance releases will apply only to the
specific product edition that the customer has purchased and has a current, active
(non-expired) maintenance plan for.
Maintenance Plan prices above apply when purchased at the same time as the corresponding Visual UML product, or
within 30 days thereafter. If a Maintenance Plan is purchased more than 30 days after the purchase of the corresponding
product, or after the renewal (expiration) date of an existing maintenance plan, a 10% surcharge will be applied for each month (or
part thereof) of lapsed coverage. Note: Product upgrades that are released between the time the product is purchased and a
Maintenance Plan is purchased or renewed are not covered by the Maintenance Plan and so the prevailing upgrade
cost, if any, will also apply. |

Notes about Upgrades to version 5 from prior versions:
Visual UML version 5
can upgrade models created by previous versions 3.x and 4.x only.

Upgrades from Visual UML version 1.x, 2.x and 3.x are no longer available.
Note: Later versions of Visual UML will still be able to open and convert models

For sales involving the shipment of a product package: we ship only product CDs. Printed manuals are not
available. Product documentation is provided in the form of comprehensive on-line Help.

For sales involving the shipment of a product package: All prices are plus shipping charges. For shipping in the
continental USA, add $7.50 for shipping via FedEx ground service,
$15 for shipping via FedEx second day service, or $25 for shipping via FedEx next day service. Contact us for shipping costs to

For sales involving the shipment of a product package
(product CD and serial number): Returns will only be accepted on unopened,
sealed product packages. No returns or refunds will be allowed on purchases for
which the serial number is provided via E-mail, Telephone, Fax, or otherwise provided to the purchaser. No returns will be
accepted after 30 days. An RMA (Return Material Authorization) number is required for all returns. All
authorized unopened, sealed returns are
subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.

There is a $50 service charge for re-licensing products,
changing existing license configurations, re-issuing or replacing
lost product licenses (incl. download accounts and serial
